![]() ![]() Many of them grow up never having to do much of anything because the parents take care of it. There are exceptions, but most children in the U.S. However, in a country such as the United States, that is not the case. Or they have to learn to deal with violent and life-threatening situations within their own countries on a regular basis. If they are from poor families, they have to start working at young ages, often in less than satisfactory conditions. In some parts of the world I would agree that children are forced to grow up far too quickly. The way in which children are raised depends on the parents themselves, but also the society in which they live. So why are we rushing to get there? Everyone wants to be a happy and successful person, but why are people racing to get there? If everyone wants to take the road less traveled, aren’t we supposed to admire the surroundings? They are made on the stage of the real world. Leaders aren’t made in pre-school when children are 4 years old. Great things don’t just happen overnight they happen when the time is right. Why? As the saying goes, “You can’t rush perfection.” Parents just need to slow down a little. From this hype, parents began to push the boundaries of their children, with good intentions and hopes for their success. This, paired with the many stories of child prodigies, brought a hype to today’s parents. The root of this rapid raising of children began when child stars and young businessmen and women shared their expanse of knowledge with the world. ![]() Is it a statement, or is it a reality? Currently, it seems like a reality. It seems as if they are crawling one minute, and in the blink of an eye are entering high school. Children are entering schools earlier and becoming involved in extracurricular activities at an earlier age. One of the things we are changing is the way we raise our children. Advancements in technology, medical breakthroughs, and revolutionary ideas regarding the way we think are changing our society. ![]() The world we live in is changing rapidly. Left to their own devices, they’ve become immature in certain ways and overmature in others. To answer simply, children aren’t being pushed in today’s world. Society hasn’t done much, or at least, not enough, to fix these maturity issues. People are doing increasingly dull-witted things at increasingly low ages. Intimacy is the largest region of overmaturity today. If you are to expose yourself to either, at least do so during adulthood when you’ve, hopefully, learned to think logically and make the right decisions. If our youth are growing up with all these damaging characteristics of our culture, how is our world going to end up?Īlcohol and tobacco use has always been too high among children. Kids are also lying about their age to be able to activate accounts such as Facebook and therefore are exposed to foul language, sex and other inappropriate behaviors for young children. This is said to be from different chemicals in food and lack of exercise. ![]() Tests show that 7- and 8-year-old children are reaching puberty. Another factor that is causing children to grow up too quickly is that fact that puberty is starting to happen earlier and earlier. Some parents are pushing their kids so far that they are hiring a tutor for their children to get into a respectable preschool. Kids these days are not playing outside with their friends after school, they are forced to stay home alone and take care of their siblings while their parents work. Children are putting away the “old fashioned” toys of dolls and trucks and are trading them in for cellphones and iPods. Each generation of children, is forced to grow up quicker. ![]()
